Hello!

I’m Kat.  Yes, Katriona is my name.

When I was a child, I loved taking photos.  I would annoy all our pets to sit in this spot, or wear this hat, or jump over that so I could take a photo.  They taught me that when your subject is done, so is the photoshoot, whether by walking off, or ignoring me.  They also taught me timing, how to be out of the way, and how to set them up for success.  

As I grew up, I pursued many passions, and traveled.  I went on a 12 country tour of central and eastern Europe with the National Honor Band and got to see many cultures, styles, and lovely places. I’ve also traveled to the Caribbean, UK, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and all over the US.  I didn’t pursue Photography in my higher education, but it just kept growing as a passion.  I have been blessed to be in a position to take my passion from a hobby into a business.

At this point, I am working on continuing to expand my knowledge base on both the artistic and technology sides of photography. I am currently pursuing PPA certification, and am always looking to learn more to make me better at my job to provide you more value.   I am working on clicker training my own pets and horses, and learning more about various training techniques.  I continue taking fine art photos and am always interested in new gallery partnerships.
